Quest Shepparton

Located a short 5 minute stroll from Quest Shepparton, the Shepparton Art Gallery was establish in 1936 and offers one of the best collections of ceramics in Australia. On permanent display is a survey of this medium from the convict period to the present day. There is also a dynamic program of changing exhibitions and an outstanding collection of Australian paintings including examples by Boyd, McCubbin and Streeton.

The Gallery Shop and adjoining Cafe are also available during open hours. Open 7 days per week from 10.00am - 4.00pm and Public Holidays from 1.00pm - 4.00pm. Free Admission.

Education / Programs are also offered by the gallery, including:

• Exhibition floor talks with the Friends of the Gallery's ‘Coffee Morning'
• Hands-on specialist workshops for children and adults
• Schools program which includes tours, materials, activities and outreach programs for both teachers and school groups
• Community cultural development projects
• Hype Arts Network for emerging artists under 30 years
• School holiday and after school programs

Much of our programs are offered by gold coin donation on entry to the gallery or run on a cost recovery basis.
